MESO's MM5 Real Time Forecast Vertical Cross-Sections
Vertical cross-sections from the coarse and nested grid runs are shown
in the 2 tables below. The cross-section locations are linked in the first column.
The wind speeds and barbs are horizontal wind speeds and barbs. The speed is the
total horizontal wind speed at that point (not the speed of the wind tangential to
the cross-section). The barbs show the horizontal wind direction, not the wind
direction in the plane of the cross-section. Thus, a barb that points from lower
left to upper right indicates a SW wind, *not* an upward vertical motion.
